'ANANT'brand HSD bars manufactured at our state of the art plants are superior to other conventional Bars available in the market.Our bars bear their origins to raw materials [Billets Ingots]. Our bars are manufactured in our bars rod mill which it technologically one of the advanced in India. Strict quality control procedures are applied during all stages of production. The resultant steel is of superior quality and utmost precision with mechanical qualities, which are consistent and predictable. Unique In-Process quality control ensures excellent dimensional tolerance surface quality free from scratches laps.In the first stage the raw material is tested and prepared to be put into the reheating furnace.The raw material is heated to a forging temperature of about 1150-1200 ?C.The heated raw material is then rolled through the rolling mill.The rolled material is then cut into proper lengths.The cut material is then twisted.Thus the final product is obtained.Our HSD Bars possess a combination of strength and ductility that is far in excess of minimum limits specified in the standard IS: 1786. The yield strength values of our HSD Steel Bars are much higher than the specified value of 415 N/MM2. Dimensional Tolerances: ANANT HSD bars are certified to IS: 1786 dimensional tolerances. However, in the size range of 8/12 MM which is rolled in our Bar and Rod Mills and where tolerances are of great concern, we are supplying bars with much closer tolerances than the specification. Bond Strength: The deformation pattern of ANANT HSD bars has been specifically designed to ensure that excellent bond exists between the bar the surrounding concrete. The BIS specification provides that bond strength should be 40% more than that of mild steel plain bars. The bond strength of our bars are much superior than even conventional bars which have bond strength of 100% more than that of mild steel plain bars.Weldability: 'ANANT' HSD bar due to its low carbon content and low carbon equivalent has a weldability which is for superior to conventional cold twisted bars. It can be butt-welded or lap-welded using ordinary rutile coated electrodes at machinery strength . Bending Rebending: The lower carbon content and excellent twisting of 'ANANT' HSD bars results in a bar with excellent values of bendability. The bar can be bent and rebent around very small mandrels without failure. These features are of great advantage in applications of HSD bars particularly at construction sites.
