HINDUSTAN SEEDS is the oldest firm in the ORISSA state, Producing and Marketing HYBRID and IMPROVED varieties of seeds. It was established in 1945 by Founder Late Shri Ghanshyam Das Kejriwal. Since 1945 HINDUSTAN SEEDS is giving service to the Farmers, Govt. organizations, NGOs of ORISSA in agricultural field. The Trade mark of HINDUSTAN SEEDS is "Plough Brand".(I) We also produce different cereal seeds like paddy (Rice ), Wheat, Maize. We also supply various varieties of paddy seeds ( LALAT, SWARNA, KALINGA, 1001, KHANDAGIRI, JAJATI etc. ) to O.S.S.C, O.U.A.T and different agricultural departments as well asto farmers directly through retail outlets (II) Bolangir and kalahandi farmers cultivate cotton in thousands of hectres from last decade. So HINDUSTAN SEEDS started production of ‘SABITA’ which is a hybrid variety of Cotton .
