Vaduwala Eye Hospital, a multy speciality post graduate institute in ophthalmology, is an tertiary referral centre for number of districts in and around Baroda (Gujarat). Vitreo Retinal Services (Retina Unit) is a major arm of the hospital and is equipped with all diagnostic & treatment armamentorium with two dynamic consultants working as full time retinal surgeons. Dr Jayprakash Purohit (MS, FRF) has done his fellowship at Retina Foundation at Ahmedabad after completion of his post graduation in Ophthalmology from Jamnagar.Dr Bharat Ramchandani (MS, FAECS) has done his fellowship from Aravind Eye Care System - Madurai (Tamilnadu) after completion of his post graduation with a gold medal from BJMC-RIO civil hospital -Ahmedabad.The clinic is oen for consultation and surgical intervention on all the days of the week except sundays when the hospital is closed. The working hours of the clinic are from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm from mondays to saturday.
