  When Mr.S.Appasamy was working as a Bio medical Engineer at Apollo Hospital & later with Larsen & Toubro Ltd, he realized that the 75 % of the Medical equipment failures were due to failure of External Accessories (ECG Cable, Spo2 Sensor, BP Cuff , Ultrasound Probe, Mono polar Cable, Flow sensor, Breathing circuits, Etc.,) and this can be rectified by the Physician and Technician themselves. Those days 99% of these accessories were Imported and were sold at very high prices and he decided to do something about it. He envisioned a company that would Develop an Import substitute, Quality and Reliable Medical Accessories at an affordable cost in India. The result was Lub Dub Medical. The first lubdub's activity was Started in April 1994 in Chennai.
