GNFC’S INITIATIVE FOR WOMEN AND FARMERS’ EMPOWERMENT - The Neem Project of GNFC will go a long way in increasing availability of Urea to farmers and also increasing agricultural productivity in the country. GNFC, being a company dedicated to farmers, has embarked upon the Neem Project as a backward integration project to manufacture its own requirement of Neem Oil and also to make organic Neem cake Fertilizer, but with the main objective of women empowerment and uplifting of poor rural population by generating income for farmers, women, poor and landless labourers.GNFC has initiated a massive drive to create awareness in rural society and farmers for Neem tree plantation and uses of Neem seeds through it’s various Narmada Khedut Sahay Kendras (NKSKs). GNFC is also encouraging other grassroot organizations like Women Self Help Groups at village level, Pani Samitis (Water Committees), Primary Milk Cooperatives etc. for plantation of Neem trees and collection of Neem Seeds. http://www.gnfcneem.in/
